Cheap Art is a concept I first encountered at Bread and Puppet in Vermont which had a cheap art bus where you could walk into the bus and view and purchase cheap art.

I don't know who originated the idea, but I find it beautiful. The idea that art does not need to be expensive or pretentious, but is something anyone can and should do is just so beautiful. So I welcome all members to join this tribe, create cheap art, post it, talk about it, romanticize it, whatever...
